Chris ‘Rock N Rolla’ Jenkins (15-0, 7KO) has switched shows and will now appear on Sanigar Events’ ‘Repeat or Revenge’ show on July 11th. The 25-year-old from Swansea will compete in a ten round contest at the Merthyr Leisure Centre against a yet to be named opponent. Jenkins, the current WBC International champion, was originally scheduled to appear on Matchroom Sport’s ‘Collision Course’ show in Liverpool on July 12th. However, the bill was said to be over-booked and manager Paul Boyce hastily rearranged a new date. The Welshman’s next fight will mark a year since the light-welterweight was unveiled as Wales’ best kept secret by blitzing the Prizefighter competition. Jenkins defeated Danny Cassius Connor, Eren Arif and Tony Owen and has since build steady momentum towards a British title shot. Last week, the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) nominated Jenkins to face Liverpool’s Tom Stalker in an eliminator for the British title. The current champion Curtis Woodhouse faces Commonwealth champion Willie Limmond on July 27th in Glasgow. £30 and £50 tickets for ‘Repeat or Revenge’ are available from Sanigar Events and Bristol Boxing Club on 01179496699.
